It is quite likely that you will need to something yourself in between your osteopathic sessions. This doesn’t necessarily mean you have to “exercise”.
You osteopath will tell you what you need to do between sessions which could include stretches, joint mobility work, strengthening exercises, foam rolling or massage ball work. Or it could mean that you actually need to change up your exercise routine or even stop doing certain exercises.
Whatever it is that you need, your osteopath will also be realistic in what you can achieve and build a suitable programme for you to follow based on your work schedule and your lifestyle.
One thing you can be sure of is that your osteopath will not give you too many exercises or expect you to do anything that is unrealistic.
