Probably yes, unless you present with a rare or tropical problem that is very rare for the area. Our osteopaths have treated patients will all sorts of genetic conditions, bony pathologies or birth defects.
As an example, we have seen various fractures and dislocations, skin conditions such as Ehlers Danloss Syndrome, bone tumours, spinal problems such as disc prolapses, ankylosing spondylitis or spondylolisthesis and other pathologies wuch as lung cancer and diabetes.
This isn’t to say we were able to treat everything that has presented to us, but we were able to tell when something was not right and get the right help for that patient.
